The Farm was founded in 1874 by Jesus Aguirre Panama and is now in hand of the fourth generation.

Since the year 1900 the farm grows coffee. To secure a constant high quality the earth and plants are analyzed in the laboratory to make sure that the plants are healthy. The quality control is a constant part of the work of the farm and takes place during the harvest and the process. Therefore the farm is only employing high qualified staff and is paying a premium to them. This is an essential difference between high quality farms and non-high quality farms. All the employees are supported during the time between harvests to make sure that the next crop is secured. The best example for the premium set up is the self-made Tortilla Machine which is producing 3000 pieces per hour to (Guatemalans love Tortillas). Furthermore the farm is paying the local school and constructed a hospital.
