Karadykan Estate is located in Chikmagalur and is specialized in the production of high quality arabicas and robustas. The cooperative Sangameshwar is worldwide known for their speciality coffees and is selling them since years to Australia, Japan and the US. That’s why we are happy to import this coffee into Europe. In January, we visited Karadykan during an origin trip with the german roasters guild. The robusta production is one of the most quality oriented in the world. After the depulping the coffees are fermented in two steps in order to get rid of the very strong attached silver skin. After that the coffees are sundried on the patios of the cooperative.
